CBS fires Charlie Rose after sexual misconduct allegations

CBS News and PBS fired Charlie Rose on Tuesday after eight women accused the veteran journalist of sexual misconduct. "Despite Charlie's important journalist contribution to our news division, there is absolutely nothing more important, in this or any organization, than ensuring a safe, professional workplace—a supportive environment where people feel they can do their best work," said CBS News President David Rhodes in a memo.
