Christina Applegate reveals multiple sclerosis diagnosis: 'It's been a tough road'

Christina Applegate has multiple sclerosis. The Dead to Me actress, 49, shared the news on social media Monday night. "A few months ago I was diagnosed with MS," Applegate wrote on Twitter about the disease of the central nervous system that interrupts the flow of information within the brain as well as between the brain and body. "It’s been a strange journey. But I have been so supported by people that I know who also have this condition. It’s been a tough road. But as we all know, the road keeps going. Unless some a**hole blocks it."
