The Languages of ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’

How the makers of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” crafted alien dialogue for the film’s interplanetary ensemble. We hear Chewbacca speak in Wookiee growls, and R2-D2 and BB-8 use the bleeps and bloops of droidspeak. For one scene, however, J. J.
