Major violations found in Missouri men’s basketball program, one-year postseason ban self-imposed

The Missouri men’s basketball program, through a joint review with the NCAA, found major rules violations during the tenure of former coach Frank Haith, the school announced Wednesday. As a result, Mizzou will vacate its 23 victories from the 2013-14 season and imposed a one-year postseason ban this season, meaning the Tigers will not play in the Southeastern Conference Tournament in March.
