Liam Neeson's action trilogy Taken is coming to NBC in the form of a television prequel. Mashable has confirmed that the network has put in a straight-to-series order for the show, based on the 2008 movie and subsequent sequels, which have grossed more than $928 million worldwide. In the first film, Neeson played Bryan Mills, a retired CIA operative who launches a mission to save his kidnapped daughter (Maggie Grace).
