Zines have been popular for a long time now. With specific York publications existing for many years, they have, however, not had a home. Places like The Inkwell have always been well stocked with local offerings, as have Bison Coffee. Sumena Owen has had enough of this slightly low-key explosion and wants to do something about it, and it is for this reason she is hosting her first Zine get together: JUICE #1 at Harper + Carr on Fossgate on 6 Aug (6pm - 8pm).
