Before he signed up for the role of Kaecilius in Doctor Strange, Mads Mikkelsen had already had his brush with casting for a Marvel Comics-related property. That property was the 2015 Fantastic Four reboot that is largely remembered as a critical flop. Mikkelsen tried out for a role in the film, but quickly realized it wasn’t for him. Now, with films like Doctor Strange and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story under his belt, Mikkelsen has revealed that he would give the Fantastic Four another shot… if he could play Doctor Doom.
