Revered by young bloggers, and inspiration for designers, “Cheap Chic” has long been a touchstone. As such, it has become increasingly rare; original copies of the 1975 book sell for hundreds of dollars on the web. This month, it has been reissued, like a time capsule, by Three Rivers Press.
